Midweek Meltdowns? Turning Family “No’s” into “Yes’s!”
It is Wednesday. One of those days when the homework tears came in the morning, the leftovers refused to reheat and everybody in the house... was just done.
Sounds familiar?
Parents familiarize themselves too well with these midweek blues. You know there is that awkward period of low energy right after the weekend, and before the next one. Kids are grumpy. You are work-fried. Bedtime is a dream which is far off.
This happens to be what most families go through on Wednesdays. Children high on energy, toddlers wishing to jump off the couch (literally), and parents blindly staring at each other across the room with nothing to say but, “What can we do now?”
And here came an excellent, wild idea:
Why not, let us jump it out at an indoor trampoline park!
Slumped Shoulders to Sky High Smiles!
All it takes is to get into the car and drive up to Altitude Trampoline Park in Delmar. And then this is where it flipped one upside down and on its head.
That boring Wednesday afternoon became flips off the big court trampoline places, screams of laughter in the foam pit, epic battles on the battle beam and an addiction into a new family activity, the Ninja Warrior Course.
Within an hour or so, see the swings in moods. Connections sparked. Stress melted. Even after departing a place like us, the only verdict that’s unanimous to both parents and kids:
“Can we make this a habit every Wednesday?”

Midweek Jumps Work Better than a Coffee
Midweeks suck. However, science supports the universal fact that exercise raises endorphins. Moving heightens attention. Spending time together as a family is a break in the chain of strain.
Altitude is more than just any jump trampoline park, it is a midweek reset button!
Kids are either climbing the rock wall, jumping in the Kid’s Court, dodging through the Mega Play, but their minds are clear and their bodies in motion. What of the parents? It is more satisfying than staring at a screen once again seeing the children laugh, run and jump over the obstacles.
And the fact is, they want to bounce, too. It gives them a sort of release, quitting all of the work emails and household chores for a while, and doing a cartwheel. And what about those that wish to play slack? There is a place to relax, some arcade games, and some snacks to munch upon.
Routines Can Take a Backseat for a While. Joy Can’t.
Remember the last time that you did something without a reason?
It is not necessary that midweek adventures have to be big. Just need a little bit of planning for a short break as one plans for long holidays with family. Every now and then all that is needed is a good reset and it can be just around the corner, hidden in a huge building full of trampoline for adults and kids, jokes, and opportunities.
Then next Wednesday--or rather any day that seems too long and too loud--ask yourself:
What would happen, supposing we sprang back, instead of crumbled?”
The sofa will still remain at its place.
Same with the daily to-do list.
However, an opportunity to dodge into ecstasy, work out the stress, and make memories in the middle of the week, is something that one should not miss.
Boost Needed? Altitude Has It Covered.
We wholeheartedly welcome you to plan an outing at our indoor jump park in the middle of the week and all of that fun that’s pumped into the air. It could be an after-school snack-time boost, a family picnic surprise or a self-rewarding play session you and the children need, Altitude Delmar is your any time adventure zone.
It is just a matter of bringing socks.
We promise to bring the bounce.
